An affirmation of what family love can be. You explain so simply how our parents have the power to make us feel loved and secure and grow into good pareants ourselves. A pleasure to read. What a pity you entered it so late into the competition but I hope lots of people read it.

Thank you for your kind response. Playing games has always held a special place in our family life. We lived in Germany for a few years and there were many many cold rainy days we tucked in with cards and board games.

Your story shows the love you all have in your family. My sister's family used to like to play games at Christmas. I enjoyed talking.

Even though your story is short, I enjoyed it very much. It tells a lot in a few words. The names you made do remind me of the Scrabble game. It's a nice touch to have them in there.
