An interesting book reflecting deep emotions. A continual ebb and flow between the child and the adult in you...

Your first tale made me think of my ward against Dracula - he only took blondes! The last made me give thanks for the truth...voted

Most of the poetry reflects sadness and hopelessness of this existence we humans call "life". In the last poem, we are left with the beautiful possibility that love, beginning with loving the child within, can make a difference.

Thank you, RD I've worked very hard on this, and I'm brining on another couple of poems. You know I'm picky about my poems. It takes me a while. Thanks for reading I always appreciate and respect your comments.

...I loved the way you opened with "The Phantom" (That in itself was a total delight).
I related to just about everything here, in a deep way. I found the poem "A Winter Symphony" so true to my own reflections on life.
The crown-jewel,to me, was "This Miracle - This Life". How often we take things for granted, and even though this is a theme as old as life itself...your twist, gave it new meaning.
Beautiful work.

Hi Robin,
Thank you so much for such wonderful review. And yes, I am taking Donna's advice. I've written one more poem and I'm writing a second one. If that's not enough, I'll come up with a third one. Thanks so much for your comments, your interest and help.

I especially loved 'The Seed of Hope' and 'This Miracle..This Life'. Do remember that the contest requires that your book be a minimum of 20 pages, so perhaps you have another tale or two to add? God Bless and good luck.

Thank you for this comment, Petra. Technique can be learned. I love getting constructive criticism on my work, but hearing that it touched someone is priceless because that validates my purpose in writing. Thank you so much!
