The Brightest Star

A special love between sisters By:
The Brightest Star
I wrote this poem for my sister, Linda. I was able to share it with her before she passed away, from lung cancer, back in June of 2004. I still love and miss her so much. She will always live on in my fondest memories.

Review - For a second I thought you were writing about my sister. I lost my youngest sister 10 years ago and the wound is still tender. I wish I could have written something this lovely in tribute to her. You have poured your heart and soul out in these gentle words. A most loving gesture. Wondrous job. Robynn

Brenda - Been thinking about your poem the past few days. Had to go back and read it again. You certainly captured the thought. I don't know why, but I am touched by it. Thank you.

Brenda,

You have written a very beautiful poem in remembrance of your dear sister. It is a clear example of how we all should feel about our family and friends.

Each and every word touched me to the core. So sorry for your loss and God Bless you.

Excellent writing!

Brenda,
Thanks for jumping in and putting your poem out there for us to enjoy.

You might have lost your sister several years ago, but "it ain't over, yet."

All depending on your beliefs and spiritual setting, she's out there watching you and the others. You'll see her again "on the other side".

I wrote and finally pub'd an ebook novel based on past life regression. When I started it, I thought it was kind of a cute idea, but... Show more

This was really sweet and tender. It is one of those things that you don't truly appreciate what you have until its gone. the bond between you and your sister is shown clearly within your poem and made me smile as I can relate to the sisterly bond having 2 myself. Well done.

A very touching heart felt poem.
Often there is not enough time to tell our loved ones how much they are loved, I am glad that you were able to share your sentiments with your sister at such a precious time.
She will always live on in your memories.
God Bless,
Chris
