If you are entering a writing competition at least have the sense to spill chock, it is sloppy and should have been proofed before uploading. Like too many other fashionably casual books, but being casual about the very tools you use is slack as!

but the grammar and spelling errors distracted me too much from finishing it.

Good luck in the contest... With some grammatical editing and what not, this could turn out to be a pretty good story.
