You have many surprises that make you read.
All-in-all, I really like it.
The cover-words might need a different color to them, though.
Maybe a dark,dark greenish-blue...
But, do NOT change it because other people tell you to.

As short stories go this is a good begining. I'm very interested in the end. Some editing will be needed if it's to be sold on the open market, but not too much. I like it...
The cover is good, but I don't like the purple font.
