This did happen. A vampire of the forest killed a human and now all the four clans, Fearless, Midnights, Moors, and Fallen Oaks are cursed. All forest vampires are now half human. They’re not allowed to hunt or drink animals’ blood and they are not allowed to have any interactions with any humans. To survive they have to drink water to control their thirst.
