Cottonwood Summers

Poems from Summer 2009 By:
Cottonwood Summers
A collection of seven poems written by Alexandra Laird during the summer of 2009. Many of the writings are nostalgic, looking back on a past age in childhood or grieving experiences lost to disease, while others were written with insights gained from living with the same disease that took so much.

I enjoyed reading these emotional and impressive poems that seem to be as fragile as the wings of a butterfly. Keep on writing poems, your talent is great:-)

Cottonwood summers is beautiful - You are really great at this type of poetry - I would love more like Cottonwood Summers and Morning. They both gave me such a wonderful, outdoor, fresh air, full of life feeling!

You should continue to write more, either in this book or the next. And remember: One day you'll be the best of the best!
