I was so worried that things wouldn't work out for the Mountain Man...I can't wait to see what comes next :D

Very sophisticated writing and an interesting plot line... your words are so attention-grabbing and vivid, taking possesion of the reader and throwing them headfirst into the scene. I felt like I was there! Haha I am an avid admirer of good description because it is really the "spice" of the story, you know? Adds that special touch that really enhances the plot as a whole. A joy to read. I look forward to reading the new update, whenever that comes

I believe your work enlightens the reader, re. the earths natural beauty. The colorful descriptions takes the reader on a journey of learning & fulfillment.
I love both the freshness & imagery, of this story.
I truly hope, you will not delay too long in updating this story.

i found your book interestin, i've never read any wester non-fiction type boos, it is non-fiction, right????
it wouldn't be the type of book that interests me, but you seem to have a talent for writin, your esspecially good at detail....

I have a new appreciation for mountain men. This isn't my typical type of reading, but I’m glad to read it. It’s good to try new things sometimes.

An amazing story! You truly have a way with words. Your descriptions, I felt like I was actually in the woods, safe the cold weather. I do hope you write more soon.

It was really descriptive so I could picture what was happening in the book. I especially loved the introduction...it was a great way to start off this book. And I really liked how you told it in the mountain mans perspective so we could picture the journey he was facing. Over all I really enjoyed the book and I hope you continue it. :)

I really like the story. I can see that you are very passionate about this era. Needless to say you have a flawless writing style.
I personally like constructive criticism so here are areas of improvement:
The introduction. It is very informative and beautifully written but too slow pace. Maybe you know when u start a book but can't get over the first few pages. Now here is how I would do it better: I loved the other chapters so try to bring in all the description about the mountain men into the action. Show don't tell. It can give it a much more exciting start.
Sentence length. I love to write long descriptive sentences myself but I have been told that they can get confusing. Sometimes u had paragraph long sentences so try to cut them down.

Lastly I loved when the guy started speaking German! I'm German so it gave me a chuckle.
Overall this was a very delightful read and I'm looking forward for more :) keep me updated and good luck writing :)
