Nadwan Hamed Rashîd was born on February 8th 1996 at K1 hospital in Kirkuk City in North Iraq and grew up in a middle-class family.

His father Hamed ,whose father Rashîd Allawi (1917-1980) was one of the most successful farmers in Diyãlá Province, was born on 1st July 1955 in a small village near Qarah Tappah Town in Diyãlá Province. Nadwan Hamed Rashîd was born on February 8th 1996 at K1 hospital in Kirkuk City in North Iraq and grew up in a middle-class family.

His father Hamed ,whose father Rashîd Allawi (1917-1980) was one of the most successful farmers in Diyãlá Province, was born on 1st July 1955 in a small village near Qarah Tappah Town in Diyãlá Province. He was a chemist and a lieutenant colonel in the Iraqi Air Force (IAF) ,but he got an early retirement during the Military Retirement Campaign in 1993 (An undeclared campaign started by the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein who wanted to avoid any coup d’état against him after the bloody Gulf War in 1991 by giving an early retirement to all the efficient officers in the Iraqi Army).

His mother Kiram ,whose father Abdul Jalil Jawad Al-Hass’an (1917-1984) was the first teacher of English in the Iraqi Kingdom (1921-1958) who taught at the American School in Al BaÅŸrah City for more than eighteen years and her mother Sabeiha Att’ia Hassan (1916-1992) was the first nurse in Iraq, is a chemist ,too. She was born on October 20th 1958 in Al BaÅŸrah City in Iraq. She works in the Iraqi North Oil Company in the Environmental Department of it.

Nadwan has got two brothers and a sister. His eldest brother called Gazwan is a doctor in Azadi Hospital in Kirkuk City and his third-elder brother called Sofyan is an oil driller and his second-elder sister called Nada is an oil engineer.

He was a very successful student in the primary school and he was one of the most successful students in the IHFDS of Kirkuk City (Iraq High school For Distinguished Scholars). Besides, he is going to study dentistry next year.

He isn’t just a poet. He is a detective-story writer and he has activities in physics (he has designed an enviro-friendly submarine for tourism) and he has an interest in architecture (he has designed an enviro-friendly tower taller than Khalifa Tower) besides his interests in the pop music of his beloved (Miranda Cosgrove) and the other singers and musicians and his interests in the studies of economics, law, the socialist philosophy, feminism (which he believes in), literature, the literary criticism and the moderate neo-Islamic jurisprudence (the philosophies of Al-Kind, Al-Farabi, Averroës, Abul All’a Al-Mu’arri, Al-Jahiz , Abdullatif Al-Baghdadi and Avicenna).
