There's a new site still on the developing stage that have stolen a lot of stories from the users here, mine included. Because the site is not in its function wet is not possible to contact them and tell them to take your story down but I emailed bookrix and let them now about this here is what they said about the site...

Thanks for your message. We don´t know this website and unfortunately we assume that this site is an illegal pirate website. Please contact them and demand that they take down your content. Meanwhile we will contact our legal department.

So please everyone share this on your wall or groups you are a member of and help other writers too. Once the site will be complete (if bookrix legal department doesn't take it down) then well have to do it ourselves.

I have notified Facebook since right now, when you try to open one of the books, it sends you to Facebook where you get an error message informing you that the app has not yet been set up. This tells me the thief intends to make the site available via an app on Facebook. I just sent in their form outlining the potential violation and will let everyone know if/when I hear from them.

Right now our work is safe, since the site isn't yet usable. I know BookRix does all it can to protect its member from this very thing, but it's a shame that there are such unscrupulous people out there. On the somewhat bright side, whoever did this clearly doesn't understand what they'll be facing if the international copyright infringement and plagiarism laws are invoked against them. If they activate their site, however, they'll find out.
