Life is not as long as we may think it is at times. I remember when I was young, a day seemed to last forever, and as I grew older I suddenly could not find enough time to do what I wanted to do. I would ask myself, "What happened to that week, that month and then---what happened to that year?" Then came the ultimate question, "What's happened to my life, me dreams?"

Life is not as long as we may think it is at times. I remember when I was young, a day seemed to last forever, and as I grew older I suddenly could not find enough time to do what I wanted to do. I would ask myself, "What happened to that week, that month and then---what happened to that year?" Then came the ultimate question, "What's happened to my life, me dreams?"
We have to stop and think, we must stop and take the time to smell the roses and reflect on what is really important to us.
For me writing is what I want to do with my time, with my life.
We can't always achieve our dreams without working for a paycheck to afford us the time to go after our dreams.
I spend time writing, actually I'm emailing literary agents. It's really not easy to find an agent that will take on a new writer,they all want to stick with their proven writers that are already signed with them and out there making money for their agency, but I ask you---were they not unproven at some point? Of course they were.
When I was told about BookRix I had to smile to myself. This is one form of getting my work out there to romance readers even if I don't make any money at it. Someone will read my work. There will be those that love it, like it, those that shrug their shoulders and think it's ok and there will be those that may not like it at all. I know in my heart and mind that I can't please everyone.
This is a wonderful outlet for a writer even though once you download it, an hour later you can't seem to find it because there are so many writers adding their books each day.
At any rate I still continue to write, I have many books. I have the 3 short stories with BookRix and I have 6 with createspace where I designed the covers then found someone to impliment it for the cover, I labored over the interiors myself and it was a lot of work, but it was my labor of love. Write, edit, re-edit and edit again until it was right, that was joy. They're not in bookstores, but they were swallowed up by thousands of other books on Amazon.com ... yet they are there.
Message: DO NOT give up writers. Enjoy this wonderful gift you were given. It takes talent to place words on paper.
I will always write no matter what happens because it brings such joy to my heart.
