Many thousands of writers write their first book using a copy and line editor. They call it 'having a book edited' but often it is simply not enough.
What is required is the novel or story be first development edited and then run through the process of Copy and Line editing. Remember no matter of copy and line editing will transform work into a gem. Yet a properly done development edit will work wonders.
As far as I can work out this site does not have the software to assist in editing. Tracker or copying text would be useful but might upset the reader if his work was copied for editing purposes.
However, while you wait to resolve your problem do read as much as you can. Check on the 'hook,' POV, scenes, The start, the middle and the end.
Happy reading and writing.
Good luck
