Read a couple of great books yesterday, "Secret Essex" by Glyn Morgan, and "Inferno" by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.
The latter is a modern day Sci-fi version of Dante's Inferno and is exciting; the former opened my eyes about the county in which I live, there's been just so many weird things in essex, anyway, published in 1982 by Ian Henry Publicationd ltd of Hornchurch, Essex. A fascinating read.
I am a bit of a 'hoarder' when it comes to books, so over the years I've ammassed hundreds but moving house is a great leveler, and Oxfam - or similar - have been the destination of much of my collection.
I would also recomment "Two Lucky People" by Tony Kendrick, but I warn you, if your sense of humour is like mine, it's heart attack material - so dammed funny I can't read it anymore; laughing that much is painful!!!

Love books, magazines, anything that publishes fun stuff, don't bother with newspapers!
Guitarist, photographer, not too hot on non-fiction but do like autobiogs, especially about musicians and actors.
Totally non-political, don't watch news or listen to it on radio - yes, love radio.
Favourite authors too many to mention but if you want a recommendation, try "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness, found it at my local library and read it about 10 times before too it back - and then bought a copy.
Favourite musically? Love pretty well all types, am a bit of a minimalist, prefer just enough instruments rather than overkill.
